In this post I will review another passive income app called the Swagbucks App by Prodege LLC.
This is the Swagbucks Mobile App and it is free to download and install.

Swagbucks is one of the best and well known rewards programs. I classify it under the GPT (get paid to) type of website.
GPT sites are sites where users or members are paid to do various tasks.

The Swagbucks App let’s you check your Swagbucks account on the go. And you can also earn free rewards using the app.
This app is one of the best passive income phone apps that I use.
The Swagbucks app is another app where you can earn passively by watching videos on your Android and iOS device.
There are other ways to earn using the Swagbucks app but the main way to earn passively is by watching videos.
You can let the app play the videos automatically while you do other things. Now you are earning passively from your mobile device.

The Swagbucks mobile app currently has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from the App Store and 4.2 out of 5 from Google Play.
Swagbucks Mobile App Requirements:
The Swagbucks app requires Android 5.0 and above.
For iOS it requires iOS 11.0 or later with an age rating of 12 and above.
Creating a Swagbucks Account:
Before we can start using this app we need to create an account with Swagbucks.
Swagbucks is free to join. And there is a chance that you will earn a $10 bonus if you use the link below.
Sign up using an email address.
I’ve made the mistake of signing up using a Facebook account and my account got deactivated for unknown reasons.
Then I signed up using email and I was able to successfully create a Swagbucks account.

How To Earn Passively Watching Videos on the Swagbucks Mobile App:
Here are the steps on how I earn on the Swagbucks Mobile App. This is done after creating a Swagbucks account and downloading the app from the notes outlined above.
Step 1 – Log in to the Swagbucks Mobile App.
Step 2 – Tap on the ‘Watch‘ tab near the bottom right of the main screen as shown on the screenshot below.
Step 3 – We need to favorite a short video.
To do this, tap on the ‘Categories‘ menu (indicated by the red arrow) and tap on ‘Short Clips‘ (indicated by purple arrow) as shown on the screenshot below.
Step 4 – On the videos listed, look for a video that lasts between 30 seconds to 1 minute. You can choose at least one video and choose the video with the shortest time.
Step 5 – Favorite the chosen short video.
Tap on the heart icon. It should turn blue as shown on the screenshot below.
Step 6 – A new Category will show up, and it is the ‘Favorites‘ category. Tap the ‘Favorites‘ category and tap on your chosen short video.
That is it! The short video should automatically play again and again. And everytime you finish the video 6 times, you will earn 4 to 6 SBs.
In my experience so far the daily limit for me is 5 times, amounting to a total of 20 to 30 SBs passively per day. But this amount can change.
There are days that I will earn even more than the limit when I get bonus SBs for watching the video for an additional amount of time.
Do note that there will be video ads played in between the short video and sometimes there will be static ads where you need to click a close button to continue playing videos automatically.
This is the main way I earn, and that is why I label the Swagbucks mobile app as one of my passive income apps.
Other Ways To Earn From the Swagbucks Mobile App:
Sign Up Bonus – There is a $10 welcome bonus after signing up. There is the 300 SBs bonus when you earn your first 300 SB in one month.
Poll – You can participate in the daily Poll and earn 1 SB per day just answering the Poll.
Shopping – You can earn cash back when you shop through the Swagbucks mobile app ‘Shop‘ section.

Surveys – You can earn fast doing surveys and it is a legit way to earn.
This is not a passive way to earn and can be a little frustrating when you get disqualified in the middle of a survey.
Access Swagbucks surveys in the ‘Answer‘ tab near the bottom of the main screen.
Search the Web and Earn – Searching for anything using the Swagbucks search bar (located in the top of the app main screen; the magnifying glass icon) will give you a chance to earn SBs. It is random, and most of the time you won’t earn SBs.
Referring and Earn – With Swagbucks you can refer friends and earn 10% of their earnings from Swagbucks.
You can access this from the ‘Menu‘ (the three horizontal bars) and then the ‘Refer & Earn‘ option.
You can invite your friends via email and via text message.
Sign Up for Offers – There are a lot of different deals and offers in the Swagbucks mobile app. Feel free to try offers that you like.
This is also one of the quickest ways to earn SBs using the mobile app. But it is not a passive way to earn.
You can access this in the ‘Discover‘ tab near the bottom right of the app main screen.
An example offer is like the one in the screenshot below. You can earn 250 SBs when you install the Solitaire Cube app and play 10 games.
Swag Codes – You can enter the codes in the Swagbucks app. You can earn free bonus SBs when you enter Swag Codes.

How To Redeem Swagbucks For Cash And Gift Cards:
You can redeem your earned SBs for gift cards and PayPal cash.
There are also Visa Prepaid Cards available.
To redeem tap on the ‘Menu‘ and choose ‘Redeem SB‘. You can now see all the rewards available on Swagbucks.
The conversion is $1 for every 100 SBs but this varies depending on the reward and the amount of the reward you choose.
I usually cash out via $3 Amazon gift cards.
After redeeming, it usually takes a week before they send me the $3 Amazon gift card code to my email.
Is Swagbucks Legit Or Scam?
In my opinion the Swagbucks app is legit and I use this app to earn passively watching videos on my device.
I have earned over $500 worth of rewards using Swagbucks and this is one of the ways I was able to get a free laptop, guitar and other phones from Amazon.
