In this review I will tell you what is Fetch Rewards, how does Fetch Rewards work, how to redeem rewards and if Fetch Rewards is legit or not.

What is Fetch Rewards?

Fetch Rewards App is one of the cash back type of apps like Ibotta and Checkout 51. The Fetch Rewards app is free to download and install.

Fetch Rewards has a website and their free app is available for Android and iOS users.

Fetch Rewards is currently only available to users in the USA.

Fetch Rewards is a market research company and they collect receipt data to sell to big companies to help improve brand products and services. Information data is kept anonymous to provide user privacy.

Fetch Rewards then shares their earnings to their members who are scanning their grocery receipts to the app.

How Does Fetch Rewards Work?

Shop, Scan, and Save. This is the only thing you need to remember to earn points with the Fetch Rewards app.

This process is easier than other cash back apps like Ibotta. It doesn’t matter which store you bought the product offer from as long as you bought the brand product on the offer.

You can shop to earn cash back by scanning receipts from grocery stores, convenience stores, club stores, big box stores, drug stores, liquor stores, hardware stores, and pet stores.

Fetch Rewards say that receipts from local joints are included. Asian grocery stores are probably not included, I scanned a receipt from an Asian grocery store and the store was not recognized by the Fetch Rewards app.

Sometimes if the receipt picture is blurry or if the receipt is crumpled, the app will not recognize the store, even if it is from a grocery store like Ralphs or Walmart.

And if the app doesn’t recognize the store, you get 0 points for scanning that receipt.

Currently there is a limited number of products to earn bonus points, I personally don’t buy most of the branded products listed in the Fetch Rewards app. I’ll link the list of products down below.

If you buy any of  the products in their list, then the Fetch Rewards app is for you. You will save a ton from cash backs from your favorite brands.

For the first few receipts I submitted I got high points, then it got lower and lower until I only get 25 points for every receipt that doesn’t have any product offers on it.

25 points is equivalent to $0.025. That is the amount you get for each receipt you scan without bonus offers on it. Imagine how long it will take before you reach the 3,000 minimum cash out?

How to Redeem Fetch Rewards?

1.  Tap ‘Rewards’ near the bottom of the screen, the one with the star on top.
2. Scroll down to find ‘Retail’ and tap that.
3. Amazon.com should be the third option on the list.

For Amazon gift cards you can redeem from $3 to $50.

Basically $1.00 for every 1,000 points

After tapping the amount you want to redeem, a security code will be sent to your phone number on file.

A valid phone number is required to be able to redeem with Fetch Rewards.

After entering the security code a ‘Your reward is waiting for you!’ message will pop up. You can press any button after that.

In my experience, I immediately get my Amazon gift card code sent to my email after the redeeming process above.
